Default Why do people error seven?

Why does this happen?
Last night I was playing with Miss Air Jordan, and we won HoH for about 2 hours. Finally, my game froze. I stopped moving. I dreaded what was going to happen next. And yes, I got an error seven.

It took me a minute or two to log in, and finally when I did.... no characters...
I restarted guild wars, and there they were. I logged on, everything was normal.

But why did I get an error seven in the first place? Is this a hidden feature A-net has built in to make it so one team doesn't win for too long? Or what?

yup. the connection can be lost at your end or at the servers end. if you have multiple computers in the room on the internet you will likely find (i know i have) that it is almost never lost from server side.
